[opensuse-translation] Joining an existing Ukrainian localization team
Dear maintainers of opensuse-translation! I want to join an Ukrainian localization team. This team exists in the OpenSUSE Localization team list, but there is no mailinglist for this team. Ivan Petrouchtchak is an Ukrainian coordinator. I don't know how to contact with this person. I found 2 emails ivanpetrouchtchak@yahoo.com, fr.ivan@ukrainian-orthodox.org in Ukrainian OpenSUSE po-files and wrote him. But I didn't receive a reply. Maybe, is this coordinator inactive? Please, help me to join Ukrainian team or become a coordinator (if Ivan Petrouchtchak is inactive). Now I am Ukrainian translator VLC, LibreOffice, gnu.org and other projects on crowdin.net and transifex.com. Sincerely Andriy -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

I don't know about that, but the headers of those po files have the date of the last change: PO-Revision-Date Last-Translator So you can find when he was last active in any file with a grep on the directory. I don't know if the Ukranian team uses Vertaal. Let me see... You have to look here: http://vertaal.tk/releases/opensuse-13-1/ or http://vertaal.tk/releases/factory/ I see only these languages: Italian Russian Brazilian Portuguese German Czech Greek Arabic Spanish Hungarian French Catalan Galician Portuguese Punjabi Turkish Georgian So, no, it is not there. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. Hi Andriy, I think you have to send your request to Daniel (jdsn@suse.de), include the above details together with your desired password (use the attached script to create an encrypted password, the repo you want to use is opensuse-i18n) This is at least the way it has been done before, if anything has changed Karl Eichwald will probably say something (in that case: Listen to Karl ;-) ) -- Kind Regards, Michael

Please notice that the role of coordinator is internal to your team. What you have to request here is simply write permission, ie, upload, aka commit, permission to the SVN. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
