[opensuse-translation] Context question
Hi co-translators, can I get an example of a context use for 'Home Path', please? Thanks, - Ys IBM5150PC on freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
It's a path to home directory (usually /home/username, but it is configurable). So any admin tool can ask to "Enter home path for new user" or "Are you sure you want to change this user's home path?" 2013/6/1 Ys <musicsuse@gmx.com>:

I see, what are it's uses in Samba? -Ys -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
AFAIK, absolutely the same. Home directory can be either local (/home/username) or remote (smb-server://homes/username), so the only difference is that in latter case the path includes a server ID, transforming to URL 2013/6/1 Ys <musicsuse@gmx.com>:

From short reading, it is not simple answer as different Windows versions have different ways to store profiles.
