Hi, why translation statistics page updated http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/trunk/ are wrong? Since stats are OK at least for Russian(ru), then it means script have not crashed on any prior language (both nb and pl are in that category). Also, stats creation date is updated OK, which means script worked fine with all languages. All the code is executed for every language, so if the script became broken recently, then stats should be wrong for all langs. I ask all translators in charge to check (Olav and Piotr - re-check,

I have re-checked and it doesn't work. I did all unfinished nb tranlations last week and committed the last files Saturday. So stats should show 100%, which they don't. I ran an update right now to make sure but there is nothing to update. I also committed something almost every day last week and the statistics did not change at all during the week. Not a big deal but I think the stats page is a convenient and quick way to check for new strings to translate. I tried the same script in yast/it/po and I have found several fatal errors relative to the "warning: source file contains fuzzy translation" even if the fuzzy string is commented. Similarly, msgfmt complains about "plural handling is a GNU gettext extension" and then returning a fatal error. If I remove the -C option (keeping -c), I obtain no errors/warnings. I looked again at the Italian statistics page and I have discovered that is not really OK. In particular, yesterday evening I submitted a new version of yast/s390.it.po that includes last changes available in the pot file. As a result, currently there are 311 strings while in the previous version strings were only 175. The stats page still report 175 strings but it should have been generated (Wed Oct 12 06:07:22 CEST 2011) after I submitted s390.it.po (2011-10-11 22:55:40 +0200 = CEST). So Italian statistics page is not updated correctly. Previously I had not noticed this since we keep all strings translated. User ID "minton" is me and by doing that you ruined almost half of my work there =) That is an outstanding example of what good willings can do. It's something about a year now (can't remember exactly) since cihlarov has not touched anything on the stats page, so it was terribly outdated (in terms of a structure and releases) until I volunteered to take care of that. So files owned by minton are just leftovers from debugging phase, so I was just kidding about you ruining something )) The actual problem with permissions is that access rights inside htdocs are not equal for the owner (cihlarov) and group (i18n), which really complicates my life cause of the mentioned cihlarov's inactivity: I can't execute the script or do "svn up" by hand for debugging and bugfixing purposes, I have to put everything in the

You are now part of the trusted group (to be able to edit your crontab) and I migrated the cronjob from Klára to your account already (but with the same path, of course, so you might better adapt it to your needs). All files in i18n.opensuse.org/htdocs belong to you now - feel free to change the group permissions to whatever is needed. This would be fine and probably wanted, IMO. I'm not sure about the i18n group, but it probably be better, if all members of the group could update the files or run the scripts--even if nobody else than minton currently wants to do it.
