It gives good quality and consistent code, so it could save a lot of work, but still I wouldn't let it publish without review. Now I can download PO file and copy-paste its parts into chat window and then upload finished PO back to Weblate. Well, this copy-paste is time demanding and annoying. So 2 questions: 1) Is anyone thinking about some employment of ChatGPT into translations? Does anyone already have some experience with that? 2) Does anyone have any working procedure with some API access, so without need of copy-paste from-to web browser? Hello Vojtech my 2 cents :-) My wife is playing Hogwarts Legacy with Czech subtitles that were translated by AI. Aside from weird distribution platform (a chat command during particular czech gamer live-stream on youtube), the translation is actually quite solid and followable. The initial CZ translation was translated within a week or so and we're talking huge amount of data. So I believe this is absolutely a direction to look into. When it comes to AI and coding, not necessarily your case with docs, the SUSE has a very simple strategy to not use AI programmer solutions for now, as there is a problem with respecting copyright of the data that AI was trained on. https://opensource.suse.com/legal/policy I still highly recommend you to reach out to legal@suse.de prior using any of generated data. Hello team, I deffer to Doug I recall that there was a question of a price. my 2cents: If somebody would like to work on something that's free that would be awesome.
