[opensuse-translation] Missing strings in update-desktop-files-yast since revision #57511
I recently in openSUSE 11.3Milestone7 (installed from KDE4 LiveCD 32 bit) added Factory repository and updated all YaST packages, manually downloaded and compiled all opensuse-related translations. I opened YaST2 and found, that „Virtualization“, „Install Hypervisor and Tools“ was still untranslated. I observed, that thees strings were removed in revision 57511 (based on POT-Creation-Date: 2010-05-07 09:16+0000). Best regards, Mindaugas B. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

Please, report it as a YaST bug in bugzilla and ask the developers to check, whether the .spec file is still fine (usage of update-desktop-files and related macros). Cc me.

Or do we have to add an additional repository for string collection? Karl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

No, bug is in openSUSE 11.3M7 with standard repositories. But additional repositories (Factory) and manual translation updates didn't help. Mindaugas B. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

Thanks! coolo found the cause of the trouble. The lost string is now back in update-desktop-files-yast.$LL.po.

No, this was not what I have had in mind. I meant at string collection time before building the .pot files ;) -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
Hellow, The problem still exist: Two names of modules were readded, but two disappeared – „Start-Up Log“, „System Log“ (and their descriptions also). ( http://svn.berlios.de/viewcvs/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/50-pot/update-desktop-files-yast.pot?r1=58479&r2=58824 )
