[opensuse-translation] l10n.opensuse.org migrated to version 2.13.1
Hi. Weblate migration succeeded, all problems were fixed inside the planned schedule. Weblate is now running a newer version of Weblate (2.13.1) on a new server (openSUSE Leap 42.2) with a different database (postgresql). If you find any problem, please report it. Data should be completely migrated from the old instance. Internal Git snapshots were updated to match recent versions. Now the server builds the search index. It is a time expensive task that will probably finish tomorrow. So you can experience slower response. After that, text search should finally start to work. The configuration is now in a default after-migration state. The new possibilities of the new version are not used yet. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.com Křižíkova 148/34 (Corso IIa) tel: +49 911 7405384547 186 00 Praha 8-Karlín fax: +420 284 084 001 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ PGP: 830B 40D5 9E05 35D8 5E27 6FA3 717C 209F A04F CD76 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
Hi Stanislav, at the moment the only issue I have noticed is that if I access the language view (e.g. https://l10n.opensuse.org/languages/it/), for any language the percentage of translation is calculated on all available languages, not just the selected one. This might be a bit annoying. Regards Alessio 2017-06-22 14:34 GMT+02:00 Stanislav Brabec <sbrabec@suse.cz>:

Sure. Technically it looks like a minor bug. You can also subscribe to projects and languages you are interested, and then you will get it in a summary of watched projects. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.com Křižíkova 148/34 (Corso IIa) tel: +49 911 7405384547 186 00 Praha 8-Karlín fax: +420 284 084 001 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ PGP: 830B 40D5 9E05 35D8 5E27 6FA3 717C 209F A04F CD76 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
Hello, I agree that. The bug in Weblate isn't only, that you can only see status of the master branch. You have to click on the name of the translation file, which links to the master branch (reason for this bug!) and after that you can come to your special translation file (with a click on master), which can baffle. Best regards, Sarah

Dear Stanislav, Can it be that any database setting was removed during the migration or Postgres needs any additional setting that the special po file will be found behind the link instead of the master branch? Best regards, Sarah

I don't fully understand what you mean. The link in the language summary links to the language+project summary (which lists all components). I think it makes sense. But numbers that are displayed in the language summary show the sum for all components in all languages, which is an apparent bug. These numbers are visible (and should be displayed) in https://l10n.opensuse.org/projects/ But I just looked into the old instance, and the summary in https://l10n.opensuse.org/languages/it/ had the same problem there. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.com Křižíkova 148/34 (Corso IIa) tel: +49 911 7405384547 186 00 Praha 8-Karlín fax: +420 284 084 001 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ PGP: 830B 40D5 9E05 35D8 5E27 6FA3 717C 209F A04F CD76 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

My experience is: Sometimes new versions of webapplications have got new database entries or developers removed special entries for configurations. There can be a misconfiguration as a result after an upgrade. I thought about that in our case, too.

I believe I hadn't so many steps above the master branch to my special po file before...
But I just looked into the old instance, and the summary in https://l10n.opensuse.org/languages/it/ had the same problem there.
German (de) is a really good example with a lot of 100% translations. This bug didn't exist for German in the old instance. Do you test it with a database after the Postgres migration or with the dump before? That should give us an hint when the issue was caused.

You are true, I tested the old instance, but just overseen that it redirected me to the new one. Hopefully, it is easy to get a very similar page in 2.13.1. https://l10n.opensuse.org/#your-languages You have to set up Your languages first. HOWTO: Go to Your profile Languages -> Translated languages: select what you want to see To get the summary just once: Just go to the main page, click to the leftmost menu (default "Suggested translations"), Select "Your languages", and you got it. To get the summary as your default view: Go to Your profile Languages -> Translated languages: select what you want to see Preferences -> Default dashboard view -> select Your languages There is no global configuration that will select this view by default.
