[opensuse-translation] 11.1 RC1 merge is running
The last YaST merge for the RC1 (Release Candidate) is running. I'm not aware of that many changes. Honestly, I only remember a new LVM related warning. Translating this pop-up is a nice-to-have, but not an urgent requirement. I'd assume there are more changes probably caused by SLES and SLED developement. Tomorrow around noun I'd like to start packaging the translations for RC1. Hi Karl, Could you please start packaging on Monday, at least for French because we have numerous files not yet translated and it would be very nice if we could work on it during the weekend. Cheers, Guillaume Karl Eichwalder a écrit :

Reasonable request. Unfortunately, I depend on the build team and they asked all the package maintainers to submit the packages today. Nevertheless I'll package all the translations on Monday again and ask the build team to pull them in. But no promises... I think we are also allowed to do some checkins for Thu, Nov 27: openSUSE 11.1 RC2 - snapshot release At least for yast, I guess. For the rest we depend on the package maintainers resp. on me deploying the translation-update mechanism. translation-update is a package on its own and it installs .mo files into "shadow" directories. You should, otherwise bug reporting during RC for translations is useless. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. I think different because I intend to release online translation updates and we could also try to create fixed installation images. I'd probably need some help, though. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
