[opensuse-translation] Release notes update
Hello, A while ago we were asked to translate revised Release Notes, which I did. Following this, I believe there was an official update of the release notes which included these translations. So far so good. However, today there was another official update of the release notes, which seems to have reversed the previous translations - i.e. in this update it seems that my previous translations have been replaced with English source text again. My locale is nb. Did anyone else experience this? Cheers Olav P. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

I hadn't paid attention, but now that I look I found this. I have: release-notes-openSUSE-11.3.7-0.1.1.noarch Both the HTML version and the RTF versions are lacking translations which are in 11.3 branch, and have been there for some weeks (since a couple of days after Karl notified about the update). And I also noticed that there are serious charset issues with the RTF version. Not only DA is affected, DE is too, didn't check the rest. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

That's bad ;-( .I'm not sure who screwed up but I suggest to open a bugreport against Maintenance and ask to revoke the update for now and CC Karl on it (ke@novell.com). Did you read my post of several days ago? Many teams have translated the trunk version, that has a very outdated pot file. This is the translation that has been released to the web server, which means that many languages are in English instead. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I also updated the file in the trunk, but thus far I did not bother to update the package for factory. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

da and de translations (and more) come with the 11.3.7 release notes update package, but they are incomplete. I guess they were completed too late. The 11.3.7 release was mostly meant to publish the English version, because at that time we there were new or changed entries that were somehow import.

Yeah, in the meantime I prepared 11.3.8 with updated translations plus 2 new or changed snipped. This means that the release notes will be imcompletely translated once again: sr#45833 : bnc#615842 plus translation update -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
