Thanks for the offer! We probably first must clarify whether there is a free font that sufficiently supports the Nepali (ne) language. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nepali_language, "Nepali is commonly written in the Devanagari script", thus I'd assume that it is supported. Takashi, can you please help with this?
I guess so. It should be included in most of fonts supporting Indic languages. Not sure how well supported (e.g. including extended region), though.

so would this language be approved? or how long would take to be approved? Rojan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

There is not that much of a formal approval process, or, in other words, consider it as approved (it just would not make that much sense to work on it, if there are no suitable fonts). I'm very sorry that we obviously missed your offer the first time; this time we surely will do better! Later the day, I'll probably create the directories and initialize the yast files. Then you can start translating right away during the weekend :) -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

I creted you account at Berlios ("fool") and the yast PO files are now available for translating: https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/yast/ne It would be great if you could translate 2 or 3 files (e.g., base.ne.po and installation.ne.po), and mail me once they are done. Then I can create a package for testing. Cheers, Karl Send any questions to this list, please. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
