Thanks, Arvin. Hi translators, libstorage is now available for in "lcn". I tried to transfer the old translations from storage in "yast". For the moment, do not work on storage in "yast" until we have a new set of yast POT files. FYI, I'm also just about to update the update-desktop-files. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

2009/6/5 Karl Eichwalder <ke@suse.de>: libstorage.ru.po I committed yesterday? :) And when the "new set of yast POT files" is supposed to appear?
FYI, I'm also just about to update the update-desktop-files.
Oh, BTW, when is update-desktop-files-conflicts get updated: on upstream update (the one you are about to do) or on statistics update (dayly)? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

Nothing ;) The default 'msgmerge' command does not touch existing translations.

Maybe, today or early next week.

Coolo, can you please shed some light on this? I just called the ./50-tools/desktop-files-update.sh script. Anyway, thanks for asking. I already wanted to try understanding what happens behind the scenes with "conflicts". -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

Jiri was fast :) New YaST pots are available and the merging is running. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

The conflicts aren't updated, they are just overwritten. That's why I left some time between the runs to review the conflicts. The general idea was to update the conflicts, but this requires some more work on scripting. If you use kbabel, when you open the new file for translation, if you then run a fuzzy automatic translation, all the messages that were the same in the original will be automatically translated and set "fuzzy" - provided you have the database properly configured. Otherwise, you can train kbabel with your old translation and then run the automated process on the new one. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
