[opensuse-translation] update-desktop-files update
I just checked update-desktop-files and detected some new menu entries. I merged the files accordingly. ATM, I'm not that sure what is up with kde4-plasmoids. I'll prepare it when know the details. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

As soon as the plasmoids can be translated, I will focus on them (german language) to have as much as possible translated. :-) Greets, Andreas -- http://www.andreas-demmer.de

We are mostly done--thanks for all your work! But... I just resurrected apparmor-utils, it is still needed. I do not expect you to update this file at this late stage, just telling you... Later the day, very final and bug fixed yast POT will get submitted to the SVN. I'll probably merge them and it would be great if you could check the tomorrow stats and clean up the missing bits. On Friday, I'll remind the develovers to pick up the PO files from the 'lcn' and update their packages. On Monday at noon (CEST) I'll package my share (update-desktop-files, slideshow, and yast2-trans-*). RELEASE-NOTS is still work in progress. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

I just merged the following three yast files: bootloader mail network On Monday, 26-05-2008, around noon CEST I want to package the yast translation, and then the slide-show and update-desktop-files. If you need more time, drop me a line--maybe, I can extend the deadline a little bit (2 or 3 hours). What are the guidelines now that RC will be out. Are we still allowed to translate or should we only focus to bug in translations? Djan 2008/5/26 Karl Eichwalder <ke@suse.de>:

You can continue working on the translations all the time. We just cannot guarantee that translations done now (after building the packages for the RC) will get published on the 11.0 installation media. Depending on the amount of translations done now (after the RC), we might be able to offer online updates, though. End of June, would this be fine with you? We must track this in Bugzilla. One of you can open such a "translation bug" and then the other translators can add their language for which an online update is useful. No, no, I did not such thing. When you said you had updated the pot files (and didn't mention the .po files) I went and tried to merge the changes into our .po files, and saw no changes, to my surprise. Then I checked the dates, and saw that they were, and still are, dated 22. If you say you have updated the .pot today, the .pot should have today's date. So I don't understand. There are no changes, for several days, neither in the zypper.pot nor the zypper.es.po file. On the other hand, the gnome-packagekit.es.po file was changed, had 41 new messages; but its header is still wrong: "POT-Creation-Date: 2008-05-22 13:19+0200\n" "PO-Revision-Date: 2008-05-22 16:23-0300\n" So I can not understand where the changes are comming from. If I look at the svn history at <https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/es/po/?sortby=date#dirlist> I see that zypper.es.po has not been changed, nor zypper.pot in <https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/50-pot/?sortby=date#dirlist> So... :-? - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
