[opensuse-translation] SVN and Weblate
Hello, This week I have been working on Yast in SVN and it is now again 100 % translated, but today I have found mostly the same changes now on Weblate, the same strings that I have just translated and reviewed, and when I try to upload the already translated po file from SVN to Weblate I get this error: "File content merge failed: Plural forms do not match the language." Will I have to do them again? Any advice? Thanks, David -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

This check seems introduced with https://github.com/nijel/weblate/pull/984 (https://github.com/nijel/weblate/commit/700d2ac486e05524bf8d78e34ac84f7ea9ef...) The problem may arise, if plural header in your file is different than predefined in Weblate. (I guess, list of predefined headers is <https://github.com/nijel/weblate/blob/master/weblate/lang/plurals.txt> ) Similar problem also prevents work with Lithuanian translations, because we need more differentiation between 1 and *1 (see https://github.com/nijel/weblate/issues/901). If all else fails I guess you can download the PO-files from weblate and merge them with your SVN files using Lokalize og 'msgmerge' or possibly other PO-file merging tools. So you won't have to do it all over again. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
Hello, I have found a very rudimentary solution that seems to work: copy the header from Weblate's downloaded file to the SVN file and then upload it to Weblate. Regards and many thanks, David 2016-09-17 20:37 GMT+02:00 Martin Schlander <martin.schlander@gmail.com>:
