[opensuse-translation] openSUSE 10.2 released

Because today is the official release of the openSUSE 10.2 (see http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-announce/2006-12/msg00004.html), we think it is the best time to thank you for your amazing work on the release. It was not easy work. You had to fight the children's illnesses of the openSUSE localization project, the fail of the subversion server, big amount of the strings to translate and late translations from developers. Thank you for your heroic work. But the localization is a never ending story. There are always some localizations bugs, which were overlooked during testing and if your team does not finish the localization, you will probably go on with work. The updates of bugs will be provided via online update, for new translations of the YaST we will provide a build service repository, and for other translations we are looking for the most convenient way how to provide them. There is our localization portal at i18n.opensuse.org too. We want to ask you for your feedback. Please write us, what you miss for information or functionality at i18n.opensuse.org. And at the end, again, thank your for your work and we are looking forward to work together on openSUSE 10.3. -- Andreas, Karl and Klara --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
