[opensuse-translation] Problems with commit on svn+ssh
Hi all, I have a problem with commit of translation using svn+ssh: I checked out the repositories using svn+ssh (instead of https) and public key authentication and until ten days ago all worked ok. Now I can run "svn update", "svn diff", ... without problems except for "svn commit" that hangs on: ori@orodruin:~/Documenti/openSUSE/trunk> svn commit packages -m "Partial Italian update" Sending packages/po/base2.it.po Transmitting file data . I waited for more than one hour (with lunch in the middle ;-) ) and then I killed the commit with a Ctrl-C. It is not a problem with public key authentication, since I can connect shell.berlios.de using ssh and the public key in my profile is correct. Moreover, it is not a problem with user permissions, since if I checkout the repository using https, then I can commit files (and this is what I am doing now). Is someone experiencing the same problem? I opened a support request on berlios two days ago but I have not yet received a feedback... Hi all again, As Minton told me, he tried to use svn+ssh but with the same result. Now I have another problem: On 07/20/2011 04:12 PM, Andrea Turrini wrote:

Also https does not work anymore; I can not update/commit/... using https, I obtain: "svn: access to 'https://orion@svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/packages/it/p...' forbidden". However, if I run svn update using svn+ssh, then the update works. As a result, I can not commit my translations (and the file translated by other members of the translation team). I tried also to checkout anonymously via http as stated in [1] with the same result: ori@orodruin:~/Documenti/openSUSE/trunk> svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/it/po test svn: access to 'http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/it/po' forbidden I have also tried to checkout another repository and I obtain another forbid: ori@orodruin:~/Documenti/openSUSE/trunk> svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/es/po test svn: access to 'http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/es/po' forbidden However, the anonymous checkout through svn works! Is someone facing the same problems with http(s)? Hello Andrea, I had same problems with Greek translation. I moved to http://www.vertaal.com.ar and it works fine. Other Greeks joined me as well and we are working with it. Hi all, 2011/7/22 Stathis Iosifidis (aka diamond_gr) <diamond_gr@freemail.gr>:
Hello Andrea,
I had same problems with Greek translation. I moved to http://www.vertaal.com.ar and it works fine. Other Greeks joined me as well and we are working with it.
I am already on vertaal but without coordinator permissions, so I should ask the coordinator to grant me such permissions. However, vertaal does not manage "packages", so I still have the problem to commit packages translations (hopefully yast, lcn and webyast are fully translated). I add similar problems for the update for french: svn: Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to OPTIONS request for 'https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/yast/fr' svn: Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to OPTIONS request for 'https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/fr' svn: Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to OPTIONS request for 'https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/webyast/fr' svn: Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to OPTIONS request for 'https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/opensuse-i18n/trunk/packages/fr' Seems the problem is also encountered for the marketing team: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-marketing/2011-07/msg00059.html Guillaume Le 21/07/2011 22:03, Andrea Turrini a écrit :

Seems to be fixed. At least for svn with https. Guillaume Le 22/07/2011 17:29, Andrey Karepin a écrit :
