2011/10/19 Stephan Kulow <coolo@suse.de>:
We never set them to frozen before, but we only allow critical bug fixes after RC1 - and very seldom do these change package strings.
Well, now we are in RC2, so there should be no more package description changes. I tried to run the prepare-split.sh script against http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.1 and there are several fuzzy/new strings: 263 fuzzy and 193 untranslated strings. Some fuzzy strings are relative to the kernel, so the only differences are the source timestamp and the git revision and the fix is very easy, while other strings are not so immediate to fix. Moreover, I have found that non-oss packages are not present in the pot files. Is it right? If yes, then we will end up with a mixture of translated (oss) and untranslated (non-oss) summaries and descriptions.
