Actually, I do not know: the files are put in /usr/share/YaST2/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES/ and YaST is in Italian if I use as locale "it_IT.UTF-8" or "it_CH.UTF-8" (actually, ".UTF-8" doesn't matter). But if I try "it" only, YaST uses English. However, currently the it.po files contain "Language: it\n" but I do not know if this affects the resulting behavior.
