50-json (for the json template files) json (final output directory for the converted translations)
The json template file is a little bit different from the es.json file that Cynthia provide initially as a translation template. We need the English "translation" here. Then the workflow is as follows:
1/ From 50-json/$OLP.json create 50-pot/$OLP.pot:
json2po -P 50-json/$OLP.json 50-pot/$OLP.pot
2/ Create or update the .po files. I normally use 50-tools/lcn-merge.sh:
50-tools/lcn-merge.sh -c -p 50-pot/$OLP.pot
3/ Convert the translated .po files to .json:
for l in ?? ??_?? ???; do if [ -f $l/po/opensuse-landing-page.$l.po ]; then po2json -t 50-json/opensuse-landing-page.json \ $l/po/opensuse-landing-page.$l.po json/ fi done
[I'll put this into a proper shell script.]
To tar together all translations, you now can use: 50-tools/lcn-make-json.sh -j 50-json/opensuse-landing-page.json -t ==> opensuse-landing-page.tar.bz2 We now have: opensuse-landing-page/ca.json opensuse-landing-page/cs.json (new) opensuse-landing-page/de.json opensuse-landing-page/el.json opensuse-landing-page/es.json (new/updated) opensuse-landing-page/fr.json (updated) opensuse-landing-page/it.json opensuse-landing-page/ja.json opensuse-landing-page/lt.json (new) opensuse-landing-page/nl.json opensuse-landing-page/nn.json opensuse-landing-page/pt_BR.json opensuse-landing-page/sk.json opensuse-landing-page/uk.json opensuse-landing-page/zh_TW.json I'll send them to the landing-page makers. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE Linux GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Dilip Upmanyu, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
