I just can talk about my idea as teamlead of the guys running the svn.opensuse.org service at the moment: as long as our community likes to have it and we are able to provide it (means: hardware and knowledge), there is no plan to close the service.
I think that place would be better for us.
I had a short discussion with Jürgen Weigert from the documentation team today, as they want to move their SVN to svn.opensuse.org, too. Latest status: they will start with the migration together with the Admins of svn.opensuse.org tomorrow and, if everything works, will also migrate the i18n repo to svn.opensuse.org. I'll write a heads up once I've something more to tell - but as far as I see, this might help you already.
