Hello. If there is no Japanese coordinator you can simply start translating applications or YaST modules what you use and want to translate. You probably read http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Localization_Guide already. Download po files of your language from svn. Guide is at page http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index.php/Suse-i18n-downloads . Translate them and you commit them back. But you have to ask for commit permissions first. An email to this mailing list may be sufficient. Regards Ladislav. 2007/10/11, Yasuhiko Kamata <belphegor@belbel.or.jp>:
Hi all,
I want to participate in the Japanese translation team since I've found some of untranslated/mistranslated messages.
But there is no coordinator in this (http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Localization_Teams) page, so that I cannot contact.
How do I start working translation?
Thanks and best regards,
