[opensuse-translation] "packages" translation

Hi all, browsing in the svn trunk, I found the "packages" folder containing po files for a subset of languages. The contained strings seem to me to be the description of rpms included in the dvd/live-cd. Are these files used? If yes, should we translate also such files?
