Dear Translators,
We have received a bug that especially yast translations are full with (html) syntax errors and wrong format[0]. I was able to approve that in listed not "important files". The problem is that Weblate does not show any syntax errors any more and we have trusted the system to show us all new strings to translate with "new strings" or fuzzy.
Hi Sarah,
If I'm not wrong, weblate has this syntax errors from translate-toolkit, the problem is that for Ruby language there aren't this checks available:
That is not only Ruby syntax. The missing Ruby syntax is creating the problem with the wrong format. I am speaking about HTML syntax, too. In the past, I was able to go through all languages before the release and if Weblate gave me the hint for any HTML error, I was able to fix such errors on a smart way with the detection of HTML syntax errors in Weblate (in every language). It seems we have to do that manually this year.
