-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi testers, since there have been a number of post-RC2 changes, and I would hate to see that go out untested, I updated the repo at http://mirror.zq1.de/opensuse/distribution/11.4/repo/oss/ so that you can just "zypper up" to it from RC2. Older RCs would need a more careful zypper dup. DVD isos should now Just Work (tm) from USB :-(except checksumming) http://mirror.zq1.de/opensuse/factory/iso/openSUSE-DVD-x86_64-Build0017-Medi... http://mirror.zq1.de/opensuse/factory/iso/openSUSE-DVD-i586-Build0017-Media.... http://mirror.zq1.de/opensuse/factory/iso/openSUSE-NET-x86_64-Build0017-Medi... http://mirror.zq1.de/opensuse/factory/iso/openSUSE-NET-i586-Build0017-Media.... No fresh Live isos yet. This is sort of an inofficial RC2.1 changes for 11.4 http://lists.suse.com/archive/opensuse-commit/2011-02/date7.html http://lists.suse.com/archive/opensuse-commit/2011-02/date8.html firefox4-b12 is big there. Overall, there should not be new breakages. if you mean https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=656536 I don't think it was fixed, since nobody worked on that and http://openqa.opensuse.org/opensuse/testresults/openSUSE-NET-i586-Build1101-... still shows it. - From the bugs I saw during Open-Bugs-Day, there are more old issues left in. Some could be considered feature requests and others just did not yet find people with spare time to care about them. Few people reject nice+working patches, but someone has to create+test the patch. This is a bad Situation! OpenSUSE now have problems to install on a "SoftRaid" beginning with 11.1 and no people can correct this? I wrote Bug Reports and ...... On my site the people ALL have Raid1 running, I don't Update the Systems to 11.3, the most have 11.1 and other 11.2. I don't like trouble? After 17 year SUSE, I mean it is time to find a working Distribution :(. The last correct running is SLES 11 ?

Thanks to Neil, we have a fix - and thanks to you, Bernhard, it's tested and added to 11.4. It's hopefully one of the last three packages to go in ;) Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-testing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-testing+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for providing this repo! For some reason, my default browser [1] was changed from Konqueror to Firefox. IIRC this already happened to me when I upgraded from 11.3 to 11.4 M5, but since then (I changed it back to Konqueror) the setting survived several "zypper dup" runs - except today. Is this worth a bugreport or a known issue? Besides that, I at least didn't notice any new bugs ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz [1] "default browser" = the browser that opens when I click a link in KMail --
