Hi Everyone. Has any one set up OpenSuse on HP pavilion DV6000 series yet? My adventure being rather cruel. Starting from painful installation and first crash immediately on first boot sequence to reinstall with ACPI option off. At this point system starts but on the first Gnome screen the sounds repeats continuously one bit until the user move a mouse(attention seeking OS :D) everything else appears to be stable despite two more issues: Similar defect with the sounds appears on the closing procedure of the Opensuse Opensuse 10.3 does not switch off it only restarts but on switch off command it crashes. Apart of that I have congratulate whole development team because Opensuse is the only one Linux operation system that boots so far on my laptop.
