I have a small issue running opensuse on my MacBook Pro. The single tap does not work most of the time. If for example I single tap My Computer in the desktop folder, it won't open. I have to then move the cursor for it to open. This only happens when I single tap on the trackpad, not single tap the actual hardware button at the bottom of the trackpad. It happens about 75% of the time or more. It is not limited to the examples I gave, but also on say , minimize, and restore from task bar, etc. Double tap does work as it should. I know this is a minor problem which is why I have waited so long to report it. This was (is) not a problem on my 10.3 install, but has been a present on 11.0 final, 11.1 final, and the 4 or so 11.2 Milestones I've tested, including MS8. I have not downloaded RC1 yet. All installs are under VMWare Fusion, lately version 2.0.6. 11.0 was with KDE 3.5, all the rest with KDE 4 default install. V 10.3 was KDE 3.5. Does changing the "MaxTapTime" parameter in /etc/X11/xorg.conf help? I cannot abide having tapping enabled as my body interacts badly with all touchpads and operating systems that I have tried. I must set the parameter to "0" for me to even use the touchpad. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-testing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-testing+help@opensuse.org
