Hello,
For those, who read the most annoying bugs only after downloading: fresh x86_64 installation does not work.
And 'zypper dup' from x86_64 M4 to M5 and to Factory before that, has crashed 'my 11.3 system https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=596349 Rgds, Terje J. At today's IRC meeting, I was appointed to the position of Testing News Officer. As I understand it, my duties will be to submit an item for the "Status Updates" section of the openSUSE Weekly News, and to maintain a wiki page with a general description of who we are and how the community can help us. In addition, this page will contain a listing of the latest testing news. A skeleton first draft for the "Testing News" wiki is available at http://en.opensuse.org/Testing/News. Please comment on what I have done so far. One area that needs expansion is the section on how the community can inform us of successful testing. If you have any ideas, please send them to me. The weekly deadline for new items will be 08:00 UTC Saturday. Given my -5 offset, that means that my material will have to be submitted by Friday night. Please send me any info that you think is appropriate, particularly for the weeks in which we do not have a meeting. My plan is to circulate a draft of the news items by Wednesday or Thursday on this list for your comments.
