Hi
I've just started using Wayland and when it opens windows, it doesn't remember where i placed it last time - is there a setting to say "remember last placement"? I couldn't find anything in SystemSettings/Window Management/Advanced

Signature is not even included on reply where it is needed. Is it so much work to say "I am on KDE"? Besides, a lot of users have more than one system and just one signature.
To elaborate. On X11 applications are aware of screen position and can save/restore it (at least request window manager to place them at their old position). This can be implemented by application itself or in framework (thus for most applications). On Wayland application is not aware of its position by design, so this workaround does not work. It can only be implemented by window manager (a.k.a. Wayland compositor), but there is not enough information to match new application instances to old position information. Which is mostly what this bug report is about.
