It seems to me that pam_kwallet is a useful dependency for a TW Plasma installation. Is there any reason that pam_kwallet is not installed by default (as opposed in Leap e.g.)? thanks!

Nothing depends on pam_kwallet in Leap 15.4. I suspect it was just a recommended package, but in TW it isn't anymore.

Why not including it? It is a useful addition?

Nothing should be a dependancy unless it's essential; extended-capability does NOT translate to dependancy. I for one don't want kwalet or any other form of personal data handler, it's ok as an option for those who do.

it is simple to add, if you want it. opi pam_kwallett -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet oftc
