[opensuse-support] Wrong battery indication after recent TW updates
GM, As for the subject, suddenly after one of latest Tumbleweed updates, battery indicator is wrong it measures 50% charged while it is 100%. ########### [10:37:01.636] device changed: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT1 native-path: BAT1 vendor: SANYO model: L08L6Y02 power supply: yes updated: mar 19 mag 2020, 10:37:01 (0 seconds ago) has history: yes has statistics: yes battery present: yes rechargeable: yes state: charging warning-level: none energy: 50,9268 Wh energy-empty: 0 Wh energy-full: 100,899 Wh energy-full-design: 54,2124 Wh energy-rate: 12,0657 W voltage: 12,45 V time to full: 4,1 hours percentage: 50% capacity: 100% technology: lithium-ion icon-name: 'battery-good-charging-symbolic' History (rate): 1589895415 12,066 charging 1589895414 11,633 discharging ########### Of course the issue is not hardware related since battery is 100% healthy. Wonder if others users of TW are facing the same problem. Of course the issue is not hardware related since battery is 100% healthy.
Wonder if others users of TW are facing the same problem.
HAven't heard of anyone.
Kernel: 5.6.12-1-default - Cinnamon 4.2.2
