[opensuse-support] How/where to volunteer for opensuse documentation
Hi, Can someone point me to how/where to volunteer for documentation? I apologize if this list is not the place for my question - I would be happy to resubmit the question elsewhere. I was browsing the recent openSuSE news over the weekend and somewhere/someone (I cannot remember where/who) - mentioned it as number one priority/deficiency for the project. After sleeping on it, maybe I could help. Thanks, Tomas -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org

We have the opensuse-doc@opensuse.org mailinglist. It's very low traffic, but AFAIK some members of the documentation team are there. Therefore I'd recommend to subscribe and ask on this mailinglist.

No need to apologize - if you volunteer for something, nobody will complain ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz --

Hi,
Can someone point me to how/where to volunteer for documentation?

Another entry point is this wiki page: https://en.opensuse.org/Category:Document_It Furthermore: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Wiki_team ...and their mailing list at https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-web/ Also dropping by the #opensuse-wiki on IRC might be a way, depending on who's online there. Cheers, vinz. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
Actually this is yet another starting point: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Documentation_team You'll find a link to the not-very-active mailing list, and all the things to help with docs. I'm still trying to find time to brush up my DocBook skills, but I'll get there soon. Cheers, Mike McCallister On Tue, Feb 18, 2020, 3:38 PM Vinzenz Vietzke <vinz@vinzv.de> wrote:
