[opensuse-support] non-default sddm themes
On a fresh 15.0/KDE/en_US installation on an iMac 24", I tried changing /etc/sddm.conf to set one of the provided themes elarun, maldives and may. Putting Current= to any of the three causes the greeter to open with the touchscreen keyboard set to British English. Does anyone here know why, or how to get the greeter to open normally without using either Breeze theme, or how to get an en_US keyboard instead of British? Are these bugs? -- "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Whatever else you get, get wisdom." Proverbs 4:7 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks! Onscreen keyboard appearance fixed by adding InputMethod= to [General] section in /etc/sddm.conf. Apparently whatever is sniffing the hardware thinks an iMac is a tablet. Maybe a bug should be filed so all provided themes behave alike? -- "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Whatever else you get, get wisdom."
