When you are done the same icon changes to an eject symbol - click it to unmount. -Tomas On Thu, Sep 3, 2020, 23:12 J Leslie Turriff <jlturriff@mail.com> wrote:
When I insert a CD or DVD into its drive, the Removable Media
module presents a series of choices for accessing it; all of the possibilities seem to be GUI tools. Is there a way to access it from e.g. Konsole? It appears to mount under system:/ or media:/, but that doesn't seem to be known by Konsole.

It is part of that dialog you mentioned - which show s up when you plug in the drive/media. you can also access it by clicking on that USB- drive looking icon on desktop task bar or "up-arrow" and chosing "Device Notifier". The icon I am talking about looks like down-arrow pointing to a line. I do not know how to screenshot it as it is only visible with mouse focus. <rant> I really dislike these icons all over the place un UIs and web apps - authors assuming that you magically know what they are for - what was wrong with menu/text. It is real fun pushing them in Gmail to find out what they do - only to find that you just sent/forwarded/replied to someone/spammer and you really did not want to. </rant> BTW: For the last few years Linux Magazine publishes great special edition magazine dedicated to openSuSE. It is great introductory resource. I often get a copy to friends/people who want to try openSuse. Also available as PDF: https://www.linux-magazine.com/Resources/Special -Editions Hope that helps, Tomas
When you are done the same icon changes to an eject symbol - click
it to
unmount.

Make the screenshot do the shooting some seconds after being triggered. Thus you click on the icon for screenshot (using xfce here), then poise the mouse wherever and smile and wait for the camera. Done. :-) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)

Here is what you need to click on to mount the usb stick in /run/media/username/...... https://paste.opensuse.org/24062574 Tomas On Sat, 2020-09-05 at 11:04 +0200, Carlos E. R. wrote:
