[opensuse-support] kernel: pstore: Unknown compression: deflate
Hi *, I updated one of my openSUSE Leap 15.0 servers to kernel 5.0.2-2.gd1f1d19-default today. Everything seems to work ok - and it is significantly faster, especially regarding network performance. I get one error message during boot, though: kernel: zswap: loaded using pool lzo/zbud perth kernel: pstore: Unknown compression: deflate I couldn't find any information for this message. Any idea, how to solve it? TIA. Bye. Michael. -- Michael Hirmke -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org

I have been seeing (and ignoring) that "Unknown compression" method for some time. I have been seeing it at least for 4.20 kernels, and probably earlier. This is on a Lenovo ThinkServer. I don't see it on other machines. And no, I don't really know what it means. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
