How to install all KDE applications to OpenSUSE Leap 15.4?
Dear all, I'm a newbie to openSUSE and I'm using Leap 15.4. I am using KDE now, and I would like to install full KDE(that means all kde applications). I remember that there is a package called kde-full on Ubuntu and kde-applications on Arch Linux. Is there any similar package on openSUSE that I can install all KDE applications? Yours, Haoran Du
Do you really want *all* of these?: https://apps.kde.org/ In any case, you can at least open the app 'YaST Software', and check under the Patterns tab that you have the 'KDE Plasma 5 Desktop Base' and 'KDE Applications and Plasma 5 Desktop' patterns installed. On the Search tab, type "kde" for the search pattern, have Name, Keywords, and Summary checked in the 'Search in' box, and select 'Begins with' for the 'Search Mode' to show many of the KDE packages available. -- Robert Webb On Friday, July 15, 2022, 07:54:13 PM PDT, Haoran Du <dududu233@outlook.com> wrote: Dear all, I'm a newbie to openSUSE and I'm using Leap 15.4. I 1,000% agree. You CAN, but what's the point? Install what you need. Then if you need more, have YAST download (or retrieve from a DVD/USB stick) AND INSTALL it for you. If you really NEED *all of it*, go for it...but otherwise, be more reasonable. On Saturday, July 16, 2022 12:49:41 AM EDT Robert Webb wrote:
