HEVC codec in vlc/dragon player
Hi The codec appears to be installed (according to Yast - x265 is a free library for encoding next-generation H265/HEVC video streams ) but VLC reports "hevc codec not found" and only plays sound and Dragon player only plays sound. Video was recorded on Android 14. yast2 softwaremanagement view-repositorys packmanrepository "switch system packages" to the version in this repository (you find this text on the line over all the packages listed)

That worked - thanks. Also downloaded "handbrake" to convert the video to 264
