[opensuse-support] geogebra doesn't start with TW
Hi, Running Tumbleweed, today's snapshot, geogebra refuses to start. As is for some months now. If you are using the one from Education, then it hasn't been updated for the last 6 years, from what it looks like. This one[0] is maintained and works, though. I have just tested it. It doesn't work with Oracle's JDK8, mostly works with OpenJDK12 (at least one visual glitch right at the start) and works best (as is supported by the contents of /etc/java/geogebra.conf) with OpenJDK11 (java-11-openjdk in the repos). Thanks Oleksii, this works! But is there a way to import the files I already made with the online app? In the online version I can open them if I signed in. But from the desktop version (also signed in, same account), when I choose Open file it only sees my local files, not those online. If I save the online files locally ("Save as" from within the online app) they are saved, and I can see them (a .html-file with the name of the project, and a directory <project-name>-files ) when opened from the desktop geogebra. But desktop-geogebra doesn't open it. No message, it just returns to the main window. Thanks again for any help! That all I cannot know -- only used it for trivial drawings without sync.
