sftp broken in konqueror
I installed Leap 15.5 today. I have several computers and communicate/transfer files between them using sftp in konqueror. I have submitted a bug report but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and found a workaround or simple solution. My current workaround is to install the 15.4 files for konqueror and dolphin.

You should not use 15.4 packages on 15.5, and definitely not KDE packages. 2. Konqueror is an old thing, I use Dophin and it handles sftp connections fine, in fact some of my gitlab stuff is opened in Kate from one of those. 3. See 1. -- Gertjan Lettink a.k.a. Hi, simple solution: use midnight commander.
Another: use sshfs user@host:path localmountpoint And that mountpoint you can load in konqueror. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from openSUSE 15.5 (Laicolasse))

sftp — OpenSSH secure file transfer sshfs does ssh file transfer, actually, AKA sftp. There is no man page for this command, but google says: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-e&q=sshfs SSHFS itself is a file system in user space (FUSE) that uses the SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to mount a remote file system. The sshfs command is a client tool for using SSHFS to mount a remote file system from another server locally on your machine.Jan 6, 2020 SSHFS: Mounting a remote file system over SSH - Red Hat https://www.redhat.com/sysadmin/sshfs -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. I know that I haven't addressed this for almost a year. I guess I was disappointed with the responses I received. However, Carlos, your suggestion seems workable. Thanks very much.

Hehehe, if I install and open Konqueror on TW, it shows the exact same network folders as I have setup in Dolphin. If it's your practice to break rule 1, that could very well be the cause of your "bug". I bet that you do see the same network folders in Dolphin. Please confirm that.
