It is entirely up to you - whether you want to use pulseaudio or pipewire.

It is entirely up to you - whether you want to use pulseaudio or pipewire.
I manually did the transition to pipewire a while back when we were given instructions for it. Assuming alsa-plugins-pulse is only for pulseaudio installations, I'll remove that. -- Robert Webb

Yes. The last comment by Takashi Iwai that alsa-plugins-pulse is superfluous when pipewire-alsa is installed means I can remove it with no harm (because I am using pipewire). -- Robert Webb
