Hello,
My laptop's internal microphone stopped working today (HP Envy x360). Running the latest version of tumbleweed (202106006). Not sure if this
due to the latest update or not (I don't use btrfs/snapshots...my bad in retrospect).
Just curious if this might be a known or shared issued.
By the way - superb job with the UsrMerge update - I had zero issues across 3 machines. (And I'm mostly certain laptop mic worked after that update).
In case anyone else encounters this problem, I re-installed the older alsa-* and kernel-firmware-sound packages below ("zypper in --oldpackage <rpm>) and my microphone started working again. There's a bug somewhere, but I'm not skilled enough to track it down. I'm willing to help though.
Thanks. You have to report a bug in bugzilla. Start here: <https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports> -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)
