partclone missing support for exfat?
Hello I'm using openSUSE Leap 15.3 and have installed partclone 0.3.11-bp153.1.14. According to the documentation (man and readme) it supports exfat, however partclone.exfat does not exist. Not sure whether it is relevant but I had already installed the "exfat" stuff before installing partclone: i+ | exfatprogs | package | 1.0.4-3.3.1 i+ | fuse-exfat | package | 1.2.8-bp153.1.17 tia -- Jason Wong

Package is built without exfat support (it needs to be explicitly enabled during build). You may consider bug report.

Just FYI - the packages in Factory and the one in the SP4/15.4 Backports are built with exfat support, only the one in SP3/15.3 is not. :-( On 4/4/22 14:14, Andrei Borzenkov wrote:

Thanks, I just wanted confirmation I wasn't going crazy. In the meantime I've "cloned" it the old fashioned way, mount and rsync. I just checked, exfat support is in tumbleweed and the tumbleweed system I've been prepping these past few days is almost ready so I'll be leaving 15.3 behind very soon. -- Jason Wong

According to "opi" the package partclone is only available at a home repo. :-? However, zypper finds another version coming from SLE. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.3 x86_64 at Telcontar)
