download.use_geoip_mirror = true

then they should report this in bugzilla.

"#download.use_geoip_mirror = true" IS the default setting and IS SET. You accomplish NOTHING by removing the "#".

Hi, where is 'download.use_geoip_mirror = true' set then since the line I speak of is commented out. When it is commented out, it cannot be read by zypper? Is the variable placed elsewhere then?

"Default action" means that that action/setting is already set. "IS SET!" If it is *already set*, removing the "#" has no effect unless you change the setting to "false".
