Continue zypper dup now that 15.4 is RC?
Now that Leap 15.4 has reached RC status is it still recommended to use zypper dup until GM, or can one now achieve the same result with zypper patch or zypper up? -- Bob

I routinely do zypper up before following up with zypper dup. The only times I don't are if I've done a dup a matter of hours up to around one day ago. Dup always does more if there's been any considerable length of time since previous dup. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. All its devel period, pre-alpha through RCx. I occasionally do one in a released version just to see the proposal, but answer no. Sometimes a proposal will point out something nice to know that I wouldn't otherwise. Sometimes I'll see a reason to answer y, or to change a lock, or ..... -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg. I expect not to publish any further builds unless SLES has another GMC build. So if you have latest updates of 15.4 no dup is further needed imho. Lubos On Sun, 2022-05-22 at 22:19 -0400, Felix Miata wrote:

For the most part up should be OK at that stage - make sure you have at least one dup after release of 15.4 Viele Grüße Axel -- Diese Nachricht wurde von meinem Android-Tablet mit K-9 Mail gesendet. Am 20. Mai 2022 13:13:57 MESZ schrieb Robert Williams <bob.williams@karmasailing.uk>:
