Q1 how to work this error? Failed to open a session for the virtual machine w7. Failed to load R0 module /usr/lib/virtualbox/VMMR0.r0: SUP_IOCTL_LDR_OPEN failed (VERR_NO_EXEC_MEMORY). Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_NO_EXEC_MEMORY). Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: ConsoleWrap Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed} Q2 Is it possible to just run the installed windows partition in VB without going through the hoops of a new install and (horror!) all the tweaks? What system are you using? There is a known problem with VBox and Kernel 5.8 - is this maybe your problem? HTH Axel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org

Sorry, I forget if I replied to this or not...
Yes, it's on TW with kernel 5.8 while VB launches well on Leap-15.2 using kernel 5.3

Then it is the same issue: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1175201 boot into a snapshot with kernel 5.7.x, do a snapper rollback, lock all packages related to kernel 5.7.x and do a zypper dup again. That worked for me. Once the issue is solved unlock the kernel again.
