i can not access the left side network from the right side though, except for pings so far, traceroutes, unfortunately the suse 15.5 box on the left side is not the default gatway there, but the actual default gateway on the left side LAN has the route (to the right side LAN network) set and pointing to the suse 15.5 box on the left side place.
fortunately i am apparently not that of a noob, i seem to know some networking stuff after all. after contacting the admin of the default gateway router on the left side network, only a few traffic rules (allowing) were needed, my part of the situation, the wireguard tunnel itself etc were already nicely set up, and now accessing from the right side network to the left also works just fine. thanks for all the input.
