After a recent upgrade of Tumbleweed Firefox is not usable anymore. It takes almost 100% of the CPU and keeps indicating loading a page. When I close it it asks for a problem report to Mozilla.
Is it possible to replace the current version to an older, working version in the repository?
I'm running 81.0.1 (which should be the latest version) and see no issues.
Same with me.
Well, it clearly isn't the same. You ARE having problems.
Did you delete the browser cache?
No, why should I? Besides, I hardly get any interaction with Firefox.
Because it sometimes fixes problems, is easy to do and costs nothing except a little bandwidth.
Did you check/disable add-ons?
Again, why should I? If needed Firefox should check.
Duh, because the problem might be caused by an add-on you are using that others aren't? And it's easy to do and easily reversible, so why not JFDI?
Cheers Axel
Carlos' suggestion to remove translations did not work either.
