Because you have only access to openSUSE's bugzilla?
If so, then I should blindly update without seeing the references first? Hi Common sense tells me to swap the suse.com reference to opensuse.org....
Does common sense tell you why it shows me: "You are not authorized to access bug #1175656. To see this bug, you must first log in to an account with the appropriate permissions."
For that matter, where did you find the "common sense" that the bug numbering systems on the opensuse and suse bugzilla's would be the same? It's certainly nothing I know nor would have guessed.
So please don't patronise Ralph.
It is not common sense, it is just history. The bugzilla Suse numbers are the same as the Novell bugzilla numbers (were) and the openSUSE bugzilla numbers. It is just a fact, has been so for many long years. The problem with the security patches announcements mentioning bugzillas that we can not open is old. There was an initiative with a group of people that would work on opening them - what has become of that initiative? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)
