The ability to use hard coded release versions in package management configuration is one of the pleasures of openSUSE compared to other distros were only ambiguous nomenclature is supported. All my many installations' repos use only version numbers. There are (occasional, mostly in alpha/beta testing) times when more than one version needs to be enabled at the same time. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
