I had some cases where the resources of e.g. knotes or others that use akonadi were wrongly connected to the mail resources. This happens normally when you erase the folder /home/user/.local/share/akonadi or if you have suffered a major(!) index damage. Check in akonadiconsole the resources if you have the notes or aggregator registered as resources for mail.
Maybe that happened during the change to postgres
