Where is that statistic published? Read before responding. Why do you think I said "unlikely to remember", and not "will not/do not remember"? I am simply basing my remark on my personal experience with casual users, of which I have plenty.

would still need to know the actual URL where the ISO images are found (which is not get.o.o/leap/15.6)
They should learn they're not using Windows. Sometimes you remind me of the shareware author back in the bad old days of FidoNet, who refused to document his code because (his words) "anyone who cannot read code should not be using a computer." Just what makes you think that the casual computer user will stop being a casual computer user, just because they switch from Windows to Linux?
Have you heard of bookmarks, favorites or browser history. Anyone with any significant experience attempting to to *download* ought to be able to guess right on first try, then a few clicks. Yes, and I have also seen the bookmarks and favourites lists for a great many users, who have not yet discovered the notion of organizing their shit into categories. But you put emphasis here on those with "significant experience"; how many of those would you put into the category of "casual users"?
Finally, for those who wish to help out in the distribution by seeding a
Zypper dup works so well there are many openSUSE users who online upgrade, some What in hell does zypper dup have to do with seeding torrents? Besides, consider someone who installs a brand new piece of hardware right before booting up to do a distro upgrade. Can zypper make sure that hardware is properly installed and configured? No. Can you do that booting from a distro ISO? Yes. But I suppose you'll have a fancy answer for this one too, one which suits the needs and abilities of the experienced, but ignores all those who are not.
No doubt you will have some response to all of this, but you won't get any further response from me. See above re: FidoNet dude.
