I cannot run zypper ref or zypper dup as pakagekitd is running for hours and cannot be stopped by saying yes to stop it. Anyone else see this and have a cure?
Do you want PackageKit to never run? # systemctl stop --now packagekit \ && zypper refresh \ && zypper remove --clean-deps PackageKit \ && zypper addlock --comment 'PK was hung, blocking zypper. BYE!' PackageKit The wiki page [1] gives an incorrect command, 'systemctl disable', and is incomplete, as it does not stop PackageKit from being re-installed automatically.
