When trying to login om tty1 I get the prompt and enter root, but instead of getting asked for the password, I get "Login incorrect".
When loging in using sddm on tty2, the session starts on tty3 and after ending the session and logging in again even on tty4.
Anyone else seeing this behavior?
I updated the system to VERSION_ID="20240607".
Hi, normally that means that a session did open and then die or being closed. I do see this this normally only when I forget that a secondary user is not open. e.g. if I open the first kde session it will open in tty2, then when I try with cntrl+alt+fn to jump to tty3 (because I think I have another user session open), all tty until tty7 are blocked for plasma and can used only for CLI input. The plasma session then all open from tty7 forward. However what you write seem that it tries to open on tty1 and fails (I guess you cannot do anything anymore in tty1. I guess you are X-server when this happens, because you did not tell. Or is this Wayland (I don't use it so I cannot tell.
